Questions about Wainwright

As if the Pujols situation wasn’t enough, the Cards have been dealt another rough hand, as pitching ace Adam Wainwright reported injured his elbow in a bullpen session on Monday in Jupiter, Florida.( Wainwright\'s Future in Question ) The 2010 Cy Young runner-up, who went 20-11 with a 2.42 ERA last season, is reportedly returning to St. Louis to have his injury checked out by team doctors. No stranger to playing with an injured arm (he won games 19 and 20 with a strained forearm in 2010), doctors suspect that the current ligament strain could be more serious. An update is expected this afternoon as to the most recent diagnosis for the Cardinals’ ace.
